Employment Options's Strategic Direction

The Employment Options Board reviews the agency's strategic plan every 3 years to keep abreast with changes in fiscal environment and needs of the constituencies Options serves. While constructing a strategic plan, many factors are kept in mind like expertise, impact on populations served, passion in the agency, funding prospects, and cost implications. The plan also keeps in mind the values the agency has always believed in.

Values

  • To see the person as an individual
  • Recognize there is strength for the individual in the peer community
  • A focus on personal growth and the development of the individual
  • To serve individuals with mental illness

  • Continue community education

Based on these values and search criteria, Options will create new services or modify existing services, to provide:

  • Services to seniors
  • Services to youth
  • Services to families
  • Quality Affordable Housing
