Social Program
The
social program provides fun activities for members to engage in after the work
week is complete. The first two Fridays and Saturdays of the month are out-of-house
activities, the last two being in-house. Transportation is provided for those
attending social activities.
Coffee Hour
Every Friday at 4pm members
and staff gather to listen to music, play cards and other games and to chat. We
feel this is a great way to start the weekend by ending the work week with coffee
hour.
Family Project Meeting
Parents who are members of the Club
come together and exchange views, opinions and stories of experiences of being
a parent with mental illness.
Agency-Wide Meeting
Meets every Wednesday
at 2pm. This meeting is designed to discuss any Options Clubhouse concerns, up-coming
events, trainings and review any Options Clubhouse policies with member and staff
input.
Job Club
This group is for all Options Clubhouse members
that are employed or working towards employment. We meet Tuesdays at 4pm and discuss
different topics to help support one another regarding employment issues.
Transitional
Employment After Hours
This is a monthly casual dinner outing for our Job
Club participants to go out and have a nice evening of conversation and relationship
building.
Fitness
The Options Clubhouse is equipped with exercise
equipment that includes treadmills, exercise bikes, weights and a universal. Certified
instructors are available to help members and staff develop individual fitness
regiments. Nutrition programs like the Weight Watchers are also offered.
Funding
To
support our efforts, we depend on:
